Education
- Bachelor of Science (BSc) in Electrical & Electronic Engineering
Experience
- Must have 5 years’ practical experience working at the power utility.
- Experience in 10 MW+ solar power systems & 33/11 kV substation work will be considered an added advantage.
Responsibilities & Context
- Preparing Electrical designs for solar PV systems.
- Review and verify engineering designs.
- Cross-check Bill of Quantities (BOQ) with approved drawings and actual site requirements.
- Supervise site activities to ensure installation work is carried out as per approved designs and safety standards.
- Supervise installation, positioning, and configuration of solar inverters.
- Plan and supervise laying of Low Tension (LT) and High Tension (HT) cables.
- Ensure correct HV/LV connections, earthing, and protection systems.
- Supervise erection of switchyard equipment such as circuit breakers, isolators, CTs, PTs, and busbars.
- Conduct and supervise pre-commissioning and commissioning of all electrical systems.
