Job Responsibilities
- Plan and execute all local procurement activities, including fast-moving items, machinery, machine spare parts, and overseas sourcing plans as per organizational requirements.
- Conduct market analysis and obtain quotations in compliance with approved procurement guidelines and policies.
- Develop, maintain, and regularly update an approved vendor/supplier database.
- Negotiate pricing, quality standards, and delivery timelines with suppliers to ensure optimal value for money.
- Prepare and process Purchase Orders (POs), contracts, and all relevant procurement documentation accurately and timely.
- Support inventory management through verification of delivered items against specifications and documentation.
- Coordinate and communicate with suppliers regarding delivery schedules, delays, discrepancies, and quality-related issues.
- Provide regular procurement status updates during program and coordination meetings.
- Support field teams with procurement-related requirements and logistics support as needed.
- Analyze daily stock levels of accessories, tools, and safety items to ensure uninterrupted operational continuity.
- Conduct demand and risk analysis, set priority plans, and obtain necessary approvals for procurement requirements.
- Maintain strong working relationships with internal stakeholders and external suppliers to ensure smooth operations.
- Prepare and submit periodic procurement and inventory reports to management.
Educational Qualifications
- Minimum BBA / bachelor’s degree in supply chain management or a relevant discipline from a reputed institution
Experience
- Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply.
- Internship or academic exposure to procurement or supply chain operations will be considered an added advantage.
Additional Requirements
- Basic understanding of procurement and supply chain concepts
- Ability to communicate clearly and professionally with internal teams and vendors
- Fundamental knowledge of documentation such as Purchase Orders, requisitions, and delivery notes
- Basic analytical skills for stock tracking and simple reporting
- Proficiency in MS Excel and other basic office applications
- Willingness to learn, adapt, and follow procurement guidelines and processes
- Good time management and ability to meet assigned deadlines under supervision
