Job Responsibilities

  • Plan and execute all local procurement activities, including fast-moving items, machinery, machine spare parts, and overseas sourcing plans as per organizational requirements.
  • Conduct market analysis and obtain quotations in compliance with approved procurement guidelines and policies.
  • Develop, maintain, and regularly update an approved vendor/supplier database.
  • Negotiate pricing, quality standards, and delivery timelines with suppliers to ensure optimal value for money.
  • Prepare and process Purchase Orders (POs), contracts, and all relevant procurement documentation accurately and timely.
  • Support inventory management through verification of delivered items against specifications and documentation.
  • Coordinate and communicate with suppliers regarding delivery schedules, delays, discrepancies, and quality-related issues.
  • Provide regular procurement status updates during program and coordination meetings.
  • Support field teams with procurement-related requirements and logistics support as needed.
  • Analyze daily stock levels of accessories, tools, and safety items to ensure uninterrupted operational continuity.
  • Conduct demand and risk analysis, set priority plans, and obtain necessary approvals for procurement requirements.
  • Maintain strong working relationships with internal stakeholders and external suppliers to ensure smooth operations.
  • Prepare and submit periodic procurement and inventory reports to management.

Educational Qualifications

  • Minimum BBA / bachelor’s degree in supply chain management or a relevant discipline from a reputed institution

Experience

  • Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply.
  • Internship or academic exposure to procurement or supply chain operations will be considered an added advantage.

Additional Requirements

  • Basic understanding of procurement and supply chain concepts
  • Ability to communicate clearly and professionally with internal teams and vendors
  • Fundamental knowledge of documentation such as Purchase Orders, requisitions, and delivery notes
  • Basic analytical skills for stock tracking and simple reporting
  • Proficiency in MS Excel and other basic office applications
  • Willingness to learn, adapt, and follow procurement guidelines and processes
  • Good time management and ability to meet assigned deadlines under supervision
